Terms of service

These terms apply to purchases from pokeboo.uk and use of the website. They do not affect rights that consumers cannot waive under law.

1. About us and contact

Pokeboo UK is operated by Shop Green Today Ltd, company number 11960190, registered office 6A Bingley Road, Bradford, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom, BD18 4RJ. Contact hello@pokeboo.uk

2. Eligibility and scope

You must be legally capable of entering a contract. These terms primarily cover consumer purchases. If you buy wholly or mainly for business purposes, the business-purchase section also applies and any separately agreed trade terms prevail.

3. Products and information

We take reasonable care with descriptions, images, measurements, colours and availability. Screen settings and the natural characteristics of rubber may cause minor appearance differences. Such differences do not excuse a product that is materially misdescribed or faulty. Check product information, sizing and care guidance before ordering.

4. Prices and delivery charges

Prices are shown in the currency selected on the site and include applicable UK VAT where charged. Delivery charges and, where supported, duties or taxes are shown before checkout completion. We may change future prices at any time, but not the price of an accepted order except where the law permits correction of an obvious error and we contact you.

5. Placing an order and contract formation

Your order is an offer to buy. An automatic acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean acceptance. A contract is formed when we send dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly accept earlier. We may reject or cancel an order before acceptance because stock is unavailable, payment or fraud checks fail, information is incomplete, delivery is unavailable, a price is obviously wrong, or legal restrictions apply. If payment has been taken, we will refund it.

6. Payment

Payment options displayed at checkout may include Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal and Google Pay. Providers may apply their own terms and privacy notices. You confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen method. We may carry out authentication and fraud checks.

7. Delivery, ownership and risk

Delivery is governed by our Shipping and delivery policy. For consumers, risk normally passes when you or your nominated recipient takes physical possession. Ownership passes when we receive full cleared payment. Legal remedies for late or failed delivery remain available.

8. Cancellation, returns and faults

Our Returns, refunds and exchanges policy explains the voluntary 30-day return service, statutory cancellation rights and faulty-goods remedies. Those provisions form part of these terms. Nothing excludes the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or other mandatory rights.

9. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions apply for the stated period and conditions, while stocks last. Unless stated otherwise, codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, applied retrospectively or used contrary to their purpose. We may refuse misuse, automated exploitation or fraud, while honouring rights already created by an accepted lawful order.

10. Reviews, comments and customer content

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and must not be fabricated, misleading, unlawful, defamatory, abusive, infringing or contain another person’s private information. We do not commission or publish fake reviews. Any incentive will be disclosed and will not depend on a positive rating. We may moderate content for legality, relevance and authenticity but will not suppress a genuine review merely because it is negative.

If you voluntarily submit photographs, video or other content for publication, you confirm you have the necessary rights and permissions. Unless separate campaign terms apply, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, crop and display that content for the purpose for which it was submitted, including reasonable Pokeboo marketing. Contact us if you want future use to stop; this may not affect lawful use already made or material that must be retained for legal reasons.

11. Website use and intellectual property

Website text, branding, photographs, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual-property law. You may view and make a reasonable personal copy for shopping or reference. You must not scrape, reproduce, sell, alter, impersonate, interfere with security, introduce malicious code or use the site unlawfully without permission.

12. Third-party links and services

Links, embedded content, payment services and social platforms may be operated independently. Their terms and privacy notices apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party content or failures outside our reasonable control, but this does not remove responsibility that the law places on us for our sale to you.

13. Our responsibility

We do not exclude or limit liability where unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of mandatory consumer rights, or defective products where applicable. For foreseeable loss caused by our breach, we are responsible to the extent required by law. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business loss suffered by a consumer, or for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control where the law permits.

14. Business purchases

For a purchaser acting wholly or mainly in business, consumer cancellation rights do not apply. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, trade returns require prior approval. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity. Our aggregate liability arising from a business order will not exceed the amount paid for that order, except for liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy notice and Cookie policy explain how personal information and tracking technologies are used. They form part of the information provided to website users but do not create contractual exclusions of data-protection rights.

16. Complaints

Contact hello@pokeboo.uk with your order number and the outcome sought. We will try to resolve complaints fairly. We are not currently committed to a particular alternative dispute resolution provider unless we tell you otherwise or the law requires one. Data-protection complaints follow the separate process in the Privacy notice.

17. Changes and severability

We may update these terms for future use of the site or future orders. The terms applying to an order are those provided when the contract is made, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply. Delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver.

18. Governing law

These terms and purchases are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you also retain mandatory protections of your home jurisdiction and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
